Preface:

Going abroad is awesome! You are going to meet new people, immerse yourself into new cultures, try new dishes and gain many new experiences. We have travelled extensively and have spent long periods abroad. Coming home after our travels was not always easy. We felt reverse homesickness, we missed the friends we made and the way of life abroad. We realized that not only we had changed but also the circumstances at home and friends had moved on. We struggled to re-adjust again to our home country. Because of our experiences and lack of information about this subject, we have made a handbook. This book is to help you to get the best out of your international experiences and to support you to deal with a possible reverse culture shock which you may experience when you come home.
